Diamond Dance

YWCA Columbus

Ohio Theater

310 S Hamilton Rd
Gahanna, OH [Map]

Floor: Floating Pergo

Events: Friday and Saturday evening dances

Parking: It's a giant shopping center.  You'll be fine!

Diamond Dance is a 6,000 square foot ballroom with a beautiful, cushioned floor.  Your eyes and your knees will be happy!  It's easy to find - locate the Kroger in the shopping center and Diamond is just to the right.

65 S. Fourth Street
Columbus, OH [Map]

Floor: Hardwood Basketball Court

Events: Workshops

Parking: Parking meters out front are free on Sunday, but cost until 4pm on Saturday.  There is a pay lot next to the YWCA and several others nearby.  Bring some $1s with you, as most lots in the area use the unattended, pay for your numbered spot system.

The YWCA is the location for our regular monthly dances.  It's a good hardwood floor; not to fast, not too slow.

39 E. State Street
Columbus, OH [Map]

Floor: Room 1 is hardwood, Room 4 is a Marley surface.  Both are sprung.

Events: Workshops

Parking: garages are your best bet for workshops.  The one at 191 S. Third Street is a solid good bet, located underneath the park behind the theater.  60 East State Street (under the Statehouse) and 21 East State Street (next to the theater) are also options.

The rehearsal rooms behind the Ohio Theatre have been the prep spaces for many a traveling rock star like yourself.  They're a little tricky to find.  There is an alleyway next to the theater.  At the end nearest the park, furthest from the Statehouse, is an entrance with a row of doors that open oddly.  Enter here, say hi at the front desk and head downstairs.
