Volunteer Info
The fact that SwingColumbus is a nonprofit organization really shows when you see all the volunteers working around our events. It truly is a huge part in the success and enjoyment of the event. It's also a great way to become more involved in the Columbus swing dancing community.
If you would like to volunteer for working the door, cooking at the BBQ, helping setup or tear down please contact our Volunteer Coordinator using the contact form HERE. In appreciation for your help we will refund $5 of your weekend registration fee in cash for every hour that you volunteer. Thanks in advance, we couldn't do the event without you!
Housing for Rocktober
The homestay is a time honored tradition of the Lindy Hop lifestyle! Staying with a host or being a host yourself is a great way to meet dancers from other cities. Hosts are asked to provide a place to sleep, a place to shower, and perhaps some guidance for how to navigate Columbus from their home--anything beyond that is worthy of appropriate amounts of gratitude, high fives, and house work!
