• Lessons are $45 for a 4-week series (every Thursday)
• Look at our class schedule to the le ft for class descriptions, dates and times.
• You register and pay at the door, by check or cash.

• Make sure you go to the first class so we can get you to started on the right foot!

• Months with 5 weeks we'll offer a "special topic" workshops

Our Curriculum

Level 1

Level 1 covers the fundamentals of swing dancing to give you a solid foundation and get you ready to move on to the intermediate level. Partnering, basic footwork, and a few moves are taught in each series.

• 1a: East Coast (6-Count) Swing
• 1b: Fundamentals of Lindy H op (8-count)
• 1c: Fundamentals of Lindy Hop (8-count) - New topics will be taught!

It's helpful to re-learn the basics a few times when starting Lindy so we encourage everyone to take at least 2 months of beginner (level 1) Lindy before moving to the intermediate classes.  If you have limited experience with dancing, we recommend you try starting with East Coast (6-count) before moving to Lindy Hop.

Level 2

The level 2 classes (2a, 2b, 2c & 2d) begin to mix 6 and 8 count movements and teach you more complicated patterns of moves. All level 2 classes continue your study and understanding of frame and the lead/follow relationship.  Here are just a few examples of what is taught in each series:

• 2a - Play it Cool : Slower tempos, switches, Texas Tommy, musicality exercises
• 2b - I Will Survive! : Faster tempos, side by side Charleston, trans itions between 6 and 8 count swing and Charleston
• 2c - Let's Get Tricky : Swingout variations, swivels, musicality
• 2d - Connection is Everything : Tandem Charleston, moves that really challenge your partner connection, the Sugar Push
