Kevin St. Laurent is internationally recognized for his energy and innovation as a Lindy Hop dancer, instructor, performer and choreographer. His creativity on the dance floor stems from a command of musicality and partner connection, features of his dance that make him such an engaging performer, and his priorities in both improvisation and choreography. As an instructor, he concentrates on the technique of these elements at all levels, teaching his students the ability to adapt the style of their dance to that of the music and to create a dynamic dance with their partner. Kevin's energy and focus on fun are a constant backdrop to all of his work. |
Although Jo Hoffberg calls California her home, she spends most of the year traveling with her dance partner Kevin St. Laurent. She holds 1st place titles from the US Open, Canadian Swing Championships, Camp Hollywood, American Lindy Hop Championships, Ultimate Lindy Hop Showdown and the International Lindy Hop Championships. Her first international working experience was in Japan working for Universal Studios, and since then she has taught in the US, Asia, Australia, South America, Western and Eastern Europe. Currently performing with The Killer Dillers, she is thrilled at the idea of new costumes. She is a passionate and avid dancer, instructor and competitor. |

After participating in founding a Swing scene in his hometown Paris, he moves to Israel to repeat the experience there. In Montreal, Patrick teaches Lindy Hop, Shag, Balboa, Charleston and West Coast Swing. He also coaches the S.A.F. "Bootcamp" team. Jon Tigert is a clown. After growing up with an entirely rational fear of both clowns and mascots, Jon conquered his phobias, and now embraces his clown lifestyle. Only he does not wear white make up, or a big red nose (usually) or giant yellow shoes. Jon swings out. Alot. Jon is a singing, swinging, shimmying, swiveling, satirical, sophisticated clown. He started his clowning activities back in 2007 when, at the tender age of 18, he discovered that he could combine his love of hot jazz and silliness, into a little thing he likes to call Lindy Hop. As a music student at Butler University, Jon has a rich understanding of musical structure and history, and tries to incorporate music into all aspects of life. His strong technique, considerable musical comprehension, and his ability to juggle chainsaws while swinging out has helped him become a successful dancer, teacher and choreographer in the Midwest. He recently won the Collegiate Jitterbug Championship at Hawkeye Swing Festival, and currently is the choreographer of the award winning Hoosier Hot Shots, and head clown in Indianapolis. |
Caitlin has been dancing since 2004 when her love for music and movement could no longer be restrained. She was inspired by the enthusiastic dancers of Purdue Night Train and Fountain Square to get further involved in the dance scene, and between 2007-2009 Caitlin served as president of Naptown Stomp, the Indianapolis Lindy Hop Society. In those two years, Naptown Stomp hosted their first (and second and third!) national events, including workshops and competitions. Caitlin also traveled a ton, continuing to work on her own dance technique. She taught weekly lessons at Carmel High School ,series lessons with Naptown Stomp, and other independent lessons around Indianapolis. Recently, Caitlin joined the Hoosier Hotshots, winners of competitions in Ohio and Iowa. She has also placed in several regional Jack and Jills and Strictly Lindy competitions. Mostly, though, Caitlin finds herself in a great mood when she gets to teach and dance... which is why she keeps coming back for more! |
