Swingology Dance School is moving to a new home in September and starts back up September 9th.

We have finally found a new permanent home for the lessons series. Starting in September we will be moving to Flex Fitness Studios near the corner of Kenny & Lane Avenue. Be sure to check the MAP for the best directions on where to find the studio. See you there!

Due to the new venue's proximity to OSU and the fact that OSU football plays Marshal on the first Thursday of September we will be taking the week off and resuming lessons on September 9th.

Our instructors are among the top swing dancers in Central Ohio. Instructors vary month to month, so even if you attend three months in a row you'll always receive a fresh perspective.

The series rotates between East Coast (6-count) Swing, Lindy Hop, Charleston, and Balboa to cover all the fundamentals and take you from complete beginner to confident social dancer. The 100-series (101, 102, etc) will always cover the basics, but vary in moves and concepts taught, so you can jump in on any month. Similarly, the 200 series classes cover different material but are not progressive, so they may be taken in any order.

September Lessons

In September the classes will be Beginner Lindy Hop and Intermediate Balboa! We are very excited to annouce that the September beginner lessons are going to be Lindy Hop. Lindy Hop is the grandfather of all swing dancing and is usually what you will see the more advanced dancers doing out on the floor. The intermediate series will continue with Balboa for a final month. If you missed the first couple months be sure to get in this month because it will probably be close to a year before we are able to fit Balboa back into the schedule. Also, don't forget that our weekly lesson series students now receive a voucher for a free admission to the monthly dance as part of their registration. We hope to see you there!
